Mikhail Saakashvili was born in Tbilisi in 1967 on December 21. He successfully accomplished the Kiev State University after this he was accepted for study in Columbia University passing the Edmund Muskie's fund competition. In 1995 he got a Master's degree in Law. In 1995-1996 in Washington he studied in the Washington's University (PhD). He started his political activity since 1995. He was an MP, Justice Minister, Tbilisi "Sarkebulo" chairman, Vice President of CoE Parliamentary Assembly.
"After the Rose Revolution in 2004 of January 4 he was elected as a Georgian President. After the protest actions in front of the Parliament he resigned and appointed the early elections. He won the elections. In January 5 of 2008 he was elected for the second term.
