The Georgian government prognoses high speed of GDP increase in 2011. Nika Gilauri Prime Minister before the government sitting said the value added tax is in close relation with the Gross Domestic Product, the news agency GHN reports.
"Last week we find out that the GDP is 6.5 percent this is a quite considerable figure. We did not expect this. To the end of this year we are expecting the Gross Domestic Product will increase for 6 percent, "- Gilauri said. He noted that as of the November the value added tax was 12 percent, this is one of the highest indicators for the last year. "In the 4-th quarter we have an increase in figures. I hope these figures may increase the GDP this year and as well next year, "- Gilauri said.
