Peter Semneby, EU special representative in South Caucasus said that so called elections in Abkhazia are illegal."The elections in abkhazia are cont conducting in the frames which we are recognising, "- Semneby said to the Russian "Vremya Novostey".
He as well said that the "EU policy cosist of two parts: first non recogliction of Abkhazia and South Ossetia ; and second the establishment of contacts with all parties."
What about the relations of seccesionist republics and the central government Semneby said that "the most important is the stablishment of contacts on the different levels."
"Any contact may lead to the fruitfull discussion, as well in the legal questions. But it is too eraly now to talk about these questions.Now it is nessesary to resolve the humanitarian, economic and social problems. We have to start from here, "- he said.
