For the New Year new amnesty is planned. According to the Georgian President's decision the sitting will be held on December 25. According to the preliminary information the Commission will review up to 200 cases.
By the information of Elene Tevdoradze, Pardoning Commission Chairman, many cases were refused, but this is not a final decision. Prisoners have a right to apply for the pardoning after 6 month ones again.
