The Georgian Foreign Minister Grigol Vashadze said for Russia will be difficult to work in OSCE in absolute isolation.
"In the OSCE the rule of consensus works, so one state can block other's decision. But this does not denotes that such situation will last for a long period of time. It is very difficult for Russia to work in OSCE in total isolation. This country cannot exist for the long period of time only on the gas and oil. Russia needs the political West more than West needs Russia, "- Foreign Minister said in summarizing the passing year. He said for Russia will be difficult to decide problems that it has with the West. Russia has 40% of best soil for the agriculture and at the same time 75 % of the agriculture products are imported. For Russia will be very difficult to decide problems with confrontation with the West. We need to have patience and sooner or later we will get what we need. The historic processes have own logic. In 1989 nobody believed that Russia could move out its forces from Afghanistan, I am not talking about the Eastern and Central Europe. And nobody even dreamed about the event in Baltic states, " - Foreign Minister said. Minister said that OSCE is the international instrument that we cannot use because of Russian Federation. "It is very hard for everyone to see Russia alone in this process."
