Georgian President recalled to the Khodorkovsky's case. The ex CEO of Yukos was found guilty by the Moscow Court. President expressed his opinion that he has in connection with RF Court.
"This is a cynical, unjust case, the violation of all legislative norms. This is a clear example of the Russian government's methods of fight against such people as Khodorkovsky is, "- President said.
For information, Moscow Court found guilty Mikheil Khodorkvsky and Platon Lebedev in its second legal case. The accused ones did not express any interest to the court hearing. Lebedev was reading a book and Khodorkovsky looked at the papers. The Moscow accused these oligarchs in the appropriation of property in a grand amount and its legalization. The Court found them guilty in appropriation of the Yukos's oil. The Procurator's Office demanded 14 years of imprisonment. The reading of the verdict will probably take several days.
Initially Khodorkvsky and Lebedev, head of "Menatep" were sentenced to 8 years of imprisonment . They were accused in non payment of taxes and misrepresentation. In 2006 against them the second case raised, in which the Procurator's Office demanded 14 years of imprisonment. They were accused in appropriation of 200 ton of oil, the appropriation of illegally gained money and in misuse of 38 % of actives.
