The Procurator's Office General of so-called secessionist Abkhazia detained businessman Igor Vavov. He is found guilty the case will be reviewed by Gagra Regional Court. At the moment Vavov gave a written undertaking not to leave a place. The information is disseminated by Abkhazian media. The Russian businessman is accused in taking in to hostage for 2 days of Russian citizen Andrei Chulanov. According to an investigation Andrei Chulanov was in hostage in 2009 of August 8-10 in Gagra in the base "Contingent".
For information, Vavov was detained by Abkhazian lawebforcers in 2009 September 1. His business activity in Abkhazia began several years ago. He is so-called Abkhazian citizen. His company presently is closed and bank accounts frozen
