The Europeam Council approved agreements on visa issue simplification and readmission for permitless persons living in EU. According to the information from MFA the European side accomplished internal procedures nessesary for the entering into force of these agreements.
At the same time the Georgian side has accomplished its internal procedures for these agreements in December last year. Both agreements will enter into force in 2011 of March 1. The Foreign Minstry informs that the agreement on visa issue simplification as well stipulates a range of fasilitations among them a considerable decrease in visa price (60 - 35 EUR) for a definite category of Georgian sitizens (pensioners, children under 12, persons with disabilities, persons having relatives in EU, students, journalists and so on).
The agreements are a step forward for deepening of relations between people and promotion of its mobility
