Today in the office of Georgian legion the discussion was held over the fact of dissolution of veterans. The legal estimation was given to the fact. International experts were taking part in this discussion. Among participants were as well Dmitri Lortkipanidze, deputy chairman of Parliamentary Committee of Human Rights, Eka Beselia, leader of the Solidarity for Prisoners of conscience , Zaza Khratishvili, head of the defense Lawyers association and others. They considered the protest action as a legitimate one. They said there was not any danger for the national security or the violation of public order. Following this the international law experts say the violation of Article 11 of ECHR take place. At the same time experts said the Court decision of January 4 on this case was conducted with the violation of the equality of arms principle. Judges did not investigated the legitimacy grounds for the protest action and its dissolution legitimacy. The argumentation of police officers was considered only. Experts does not exclude the possibility of passing the case to the Strasbourg Court of Human rights.
For information, on January 3 of 2011 Georgian law enforcers dissolved the peaceful protesters with using the force.
