Nino Kalandadze, Deputy Foreign Minister said the Council of Europe has compulsive mechanisms as well, that can be invoked against Russia. "Partially the population's doubt about the efficiency of CoE's resolutions against Russia is understable. We expressed our protest in this connection several times, among them behind the closed doors. However we hope our subsequent efforts will yield results despite of everything. There are range of legislative tools for compulsive mechanisms against Russia and other countries breaching the agreements, "- Kalandzdze said to journalists commenting the winter PACE session. At the same time Kalandadze said Georgia will not call the CoE yet for the invoking of any compulsive mechanisms against Russia, hoping that this country still will act more wisely. Georgia hopes that Russia will satisfy demands over verbal and writing communications from CoE. That it will annul the decisions that are contrary to the international law principles. In this context Deputy Foreign Minister said the Georgian party will pose the question of Russia's obligations before Georgia on today's PACE session. "We demand the adherence to the principles of the organization form member countries, in this case from RF, "- Kalandadze said.
