Georgian President said the today's opposition is weak. Nevertheless he prefers the active opposition to the partisan opposition. The problem is the weakness of the opposition. "Two-three years ago we had very strong opposition, but mainly it was concerned with the undermining of the country. It was declaring we will explode the country if this country will not be ours. They were acting by partisan methods. I prefer the today's situation, when the opposition is weaker, this is better than it was in 2007, in 2008 and even in the first half of the 2009, " - President said in the course of the teleconference in the TV channel First Caucasian. President said despite of this he wishes to have such opposition that will not be catastrophic one when coming to the power.
"This is the situation I desire. I wish the strong opposition that will be able to replace the government and will not be catastrophic for the country. In 2008 the candidate from opposition was a person who was declaring that has no program for the presidency, the only plan that he has to live "OK". In case if he would be elected as a President he would abolish the post of a President. Another candidate was a person willing a coup d'etat. In one word practically all candidates were promising to liberate all from prisons and there was an unbelievable situation, "- Saakashvili said.
Saakashvili said that today  representatives of the political minority overcome the main test and know t main rules of the game - the country without corruption and criminal authorities. Today the opposition talks about problems of our people, it is responsible and values own country.
