The Swiss delegation in the CoE did not prepared the individual declaration about the non fulfillment of obligations by Russian Federation. The declaration was to be discussed on yesterday's sitting. Nevertheless Andreas Gross, Switzerlsnd's delegation representative, who is presumed a Russia's interests adherent, presented only the verbal report.
"Unfortunately here are members who following the private considerations are trying not to notice those principal values that are fundamental principles of the CoE . They are trying to prioritize the political benefits, "- Chiora Taktakishvili, MP Georgian representative in the CoE said to journalists.
The individual report on non fulfillment of obligations by Russian Federation most likely will be prepared for Spring this year. To be noted this is an unprecedented case, in the history of Council of Europe. As during 5 years the individual report was not prepared.
For information, last year Georgia asked about deprivation of voting rights to Russian Federation. In turn Andreas Gross prepared the report in favor of Russian Federation in one day only.
