According to the declaration of Georgian Patriarchy the information about possible visit of Russian Patriarch to Gerogia is not correct.
According to the Patriarchy during the meeting of the Patriarchs of Georiga and Russia in Azerbaijan the conversation about this isssue was not hold.
"They did not talk about this at all during its meeting in Azerbaijan, as according to the church canons the Russian newly elected Patriarch has to visit firstly other countries orthodox churches, following the diptych, " - the statement of Patriarchy reads.
