The tender for the taxi drivers of shuttle survive was one more farce staged by Gigi Ugulava, Tbilisi Mayor. On January 31 the so-called winner were announced. Tina Khidasheli, Sarkebulo member from Republican party said. She declared she will not support the corruptive system of Tbilisi Mayor that is established in the City. She believes that tender was not held in the free competitive area and in fact Mayor did already a decision who will be granted the transportation routs.
"This was a farce that for the avoidance of monopoly the tender was announced for 5 lots. In fact the different companies winners of the tenders were of the same group of people, " - Khidasheli said.
She said that the winner companies - 3 Ltd-s Tbil line, Public car, and Tbil car were established very suspiciously at the same day. Its charters are absolutely identical and its papers are approved by the same notary bureau. Its documents are registered in the Civil Registry with the interval of 5 minutes. One and the same restaurant takes the responsibility for its office place.
Khidasheli is interested what fate will share the families of those taxi drivers who buy the white minibuses for the loan. What fare will be established for travel?
