All mine works are stopped at Tkibuli mine for the miners' mass strike. The strike started at 06:00, GHN reports. Zaza Gordeziani, managerial director of mine said to GHN the miners are demanding increase of salaries for 3-times.
"Several demands were expressed before by them, now only one is on agenda - increasing of wages. This is impossible. The salary is the same as in Western European countries - 300 GEL, "- he said to the news agency GHN.
He noted that is the strike will continue for a long time the mine will be closed.
