93 years passed since establishment of the Tbilisi State University, GHN reports. To the festive arrangements are invited representatives of executive and legislative authorities. The TSU was established in February 8 of 1918. At that time TSU was the only University in the Caucasus. The special role in the establishing of the University has Ivane Javkhishvili, famous Georgian academician. The first rector of the University was Peter Melikishvili.
