Press Spokeswomen of Georgian President Manana Manjgaldze summarized the participation of Georgian party in the Munich Security Conference.
Majgaldze said Munich Conference once more gives a chance for the Georgian side to present before the international community problems that exist in Georgia.
"President Sakashvili once more introduced the audience with the situation in occupied territories. This first of all touches the occupied territories and the actions that Russian Federation commits at that territory. Russian side continues violation of the agreement on cease-fire. Russia accommodated additional armament to the occupied territories, this violates once more the agreement concluded on 2008 and the agreement on EU conventional armament, "- Manjgaladze said.
She noted that very important meeting was held between Georgian President and Angela Merkel, German Chancellor. "The conference was very important in terms of bilateral meetings. The Georgian and German parties discussed Russian-Georgian relations with German Chancellor. Merkel said she always reminds to Russian side the obligations taken in August 2008 before the international community, "- Manjgaladze said. As well very important meeting was held with Australian Foreign Minister Kevin Rad. They decision was taken to establish Georgian embassy in Australia in 2012. On the bilateral meeting with Swiss President Mischeline Calmy-Rey it was decided to activate the Role of Switzerland in bilateral relations.
