Regardless of world economic crisis, investments in Georgia would diminish. Sandro Tvalchrelidze, expert in Economics said today in Parliament at the meeting with Christian Democrats.
"The economic crisis mainly touched the oil and securities. The balance has been destroyed for the political but economic reasons. This was a main reason for the economic crisis, "- Tvalchrelidze said. He believes that such problems are not in any touching point with Georgia. In this view the world economic crisis has had only indirect connection with Georgia. The investments inflow decreased in our country.
"Investments would diminish regardless of economic crisis, as main investments were made to the real estate. Our economy stayed on this ground, but these resources expired soon, as Georgia is a small country, "- expert said. Despite of this, he noted government tries to invest in Tourism, this will not help Georgia, if only Georgian people will not be involved in the economy development.
