"The social explosion is expected, as the situation in Georgia is getting worse day to day. Saakashvili probably will resign before the end of the year, "- Nino Burjandze, leader of democratic movement said in her interview with "Vzglad" Russian newspaper.
"I do not believe that  manifestations and protest actions are the thing of the past, and not only in Georgia but in all world. I believe that mass protest will force the government to make compromises, to resign and to give to our state chance to survive and to develop, " - Burjanadze said. I believe that after 2008 August each day of President's presence at power is a tragedy for Georgian people. Absolutely groundless are accusations of Saakshvili that RF wished him to resign on August of 2008. If Russia really wished this, it did this, Burjanadze believes.

Burjanadze said that the opposition made a big mistake when supported Saakashvili at the background of Russian tanks.

"From one point of view this was right politically and morally, but from the other point of view government directed weapons against opposition and decided that they can rule without being punished, " - she said.
