The Official Tbilisi calls international community to put pressure over Russian Federation for dangerous antidemocratic events that take place for the last period of time.
Recently Natalia Vasiljeva, Press Attaché of Khramovsky Regional Court gave an interview to internet edition "Gazeta.ru". She said the verdict on the case against ex-CEO Yukos Mikhail Khodorkovski and Platon Lebedev in fact was written first in Moscow City Court and the Judge Viktor Danilevsky "simply read it".
MFA responded to the above mentioned information with the following statement: "The above mentioned information once more proves that in Russian Federation a serious violations of human rights takes place. This was noted by international organizations and international community many times. Georgian Foreign Ministry calls the international community to pay attention to such dangerous tendencies happening in Russian Federation and to put pressure over Russian Federation to force it pay respect to Human Rights and to the internationally recognized norms and principles, " - MFA statement reads. "The repressive policy of Russian Federation overgrows to the aggression against Georgia far from the borders of Russian Federation."
