In the new National Security Concept Russian Federation should be defined as a country-occupant, which is a source of all possible dangers, Georgian expert Nika Chitadze said, GHN reports.
"The new document should define Russia as an enemy. Possibly this will not appear in the exact formulation, but in 2008 this country committed an aggression against our country. This denotes its animosity against us. Yes we should state clearly, Russia is an occupant of Georgia, "- expert said in conversation with GHN. He said that after the 2008 war the security area in our country changed, and the review of this concept is a positive step. The priorities and dangers since 2005 changed considerably.
In view of dangers we should take into consideration that we have two occupied regions and the new aggression is possible from Russian Federation. This may not be a large scale military operation but it is possible that from the occupied regions the band formations may enter Georgia. In this view document has to define definite dangers, " - exert said.
For information, the Security Council of Georgia started the work under the new strategy.
