Belarusian Parliament will not discuss the question of independence South Ossetia and Abkhazia during the session. Igor Karpenko, representative of Belarusian Lower Chamber said to journalists.
"The question of recognition of independence of two republics according to the Belarusian legislation is a subject of competence of President only, "- Karpenko said explaining why the Parliament is not able to discuss this subject.
"The Parliamentary Commission actively works under the question and for the study of the situation in the region, "- Karpenko said.
He said that the Belarusian Parliamentary delegation arrived to Georgia to study the situation in the region.
