Levan Gachechiladze, leader of "Defend Georgia" declared that during his meeting with interdepartmental groups, the talks touched issues of breaches of democracy in Georigia. Gachechiladze said that the opposition presented to the USA side the documents about facts of violations in area of freedom of media, legislative inaccuracy, court and police. Gachechiladze said that the USA side has a strong reaction to these facts.
"We have had a principal, serious conversation about key issues. The talks touched the problems in media, inaccuracies in the legislative system, depolitization of police. They were listening very attentively and responded with a serious reaction, this is very important for me, "- Levan Gachechiladze said.
The interdepartmental group is conducting the meetings in USA Embassy from this morning. The first meeting was conducted with the public sector.
