"Georgian people should decide who will become a President. The major is that after the revolution Sakashvili to resign, "- Nino Burjanadze, leader of Democratic Movement said, when journalist of Correspondent.net was interested when Burjanadze will become a President. At the same time Burjanadze said in Georgia it is not possible to talk about any common candidate.
"Elections are not seen yet in near future. At the same time I believe that the common candidate is not a right decision. At the time of Rose Revolution namely this was our fatal mistake. When we united with Zurab Jzvania, we elected as a common candidate Saakashvili and we won. But he used our achievements,"- Burjanadze said. He decided as if getting 87% votes at elections was his private merit.
Burjanadze noted that first of all the Georgian people should attain the peaceful step down of present government and afterwards new government should be elected peacefully. She noted that only 15% of Georgian population is living in prosperity, 45 % are poor and perspectiveless, others are refusing to comment its situation.
