James Stainberg, first deputy USA State Secretary will arrive to Tbilisi. Before this he will visit Azerbaijan, on February 24. When meeting with Georgian political circles he will discuss the USA-Georgia strategic cooperation perspectives; pending reforms in Georgia and participation in Afghanistan peacekeeping operation.
He is one of the most influential figures in USA State Department. He heads the USA-Georgian Charter and the strategic partnership of USA.
