The band formation in Cabardino Balkaria which was encircled by the Russian Federation's Unit of Special Purpose of the Internal Forces escaped GHN reports. The band supposedly was up to 10 militants who were supposedly involved in assault of Moscow tourists. Internal Forces broadened the searching area in Elbrus region to catch criminals.
