Grigol Vashadze, Georgian Foreign Minister said Georgia get the equivalence of the MAP from NATO. Grigol Vshadze said this in his interview with the RFE RL in Prague studio. He said this fact explains the participation of Georgia in the military peacekeeping operations in Afghanistan.
"NATO defends the security in Afghanistan, we as well should act as Alliance does. Because we have an aspiration for the NATO membership, Washadze said.
Alongside with this he discussed the relations with Russia. He said the Georgian policy is to talk on every international meeting about its occupied territories, to make Russia not to forget about its obligations.
