Germany is an obstacle for Georgia in its NATO membership, Mikhail Saakashvili said, GHN reports. He gave an interview to Lithuania's Journal Valstybė. He noted that Georgia is going to move forward in direction to the Euro Atlantic integration, but the main obstacle in this way is Berlin.
"This seems to be illogical but Berlin is a biggest obstacle. In any way we are going to move forward and will renew our aspiration anew. Ironically all knew that Georgia is a best pupil but at the same time it is prevented to move to the next stage. This is not good. I cannot say when we will enter NATO. Ask this in Washington, Brussels and in Berlin. I think we have to show that we advanced and we have to work and work. Sooner or later we will be in NATO, "- Saakashvili said.
