The time was in German political life when the Russian-German strategic relations were about to push aside the Georgian place in EU policy. This approach changed. Davit Darhiashvili, chairman of the Parliamentary Committee for European Integration said to GHN commenting the interview of President with Lithuanian journal.
"The Georgian-European Relations are intense and multitasked. From 2008 the level of relations with Brussels increased as never before. Both sides have to work hard. Many steps have to be made in achievement of mutual understanding. Starting from the food safety to the strategic questions, "- Darchiashvili said.
He said this is not an easy task, but the process goes into right direction. In some period of time we can achieve this aim to be a part of European family.
