Gia Tortladze, oppositionist, chairman of the strong Georgia said to GHN that the opposition has no arms for influencing the government. He said this commenting the interview of Mikhail Saakashvili to Lithuanian journal.
"The opposition in Parliament is very small. Despite the fact that here the opposition is presented in two fractions. In fact all decisions are taken by the majority without interference of opposition. Among them the constitutional changes as well are taken without opposition's presence. Nevertheless such amendments require the full quorum, "- oppositionist said.
He noted that the international community looks at Georgia with some suspicion. Is the situation in the country quite stable after three month of protest actions.
For information, President noted that the Georgian opposition has no enough power. Saakashvili underlined that the problem is not an absence of rights but the fact that people are tired of its slogans.
