Azerbaijanian and Armenian Presidents Ilham Aliev and Serj Sargisian will hold meetings today, on March 5 in Sochi. The newly appointed USA envoy to Azerbaijan Mathew Brisa said this
"I will make every effort to support co-chairmen in negotiations. The main aim is the bilateral compromise and long term peace, " - Brisa said.
He said the peaceful resolution of the conflict will make prosperous the region. The people living here will get affluence.
"Many important questions are in the Azerbaijani and USA bilateral relations, among them questions in energy and security as well internal reforms, "- Brisa said.
Nevertheless the most important quesiton is a question of Carabakh. Envoy is sure that the resolution of conflict is impossible over the military intervention.
For information, the meeting of Azerbaijani and Armenian Presidents with participation of Russian President was held in Astana on October of 2010.
