Youth representatives of Free Democrats and its supporters hold a protest action in front of the Corrections Ministry. Alexander Sakhelashvili, one of the Free Democrats said to GHN that they are demanding improvement of prisoners' conditions in prisons.
"Some time ago we sent a letter to the Khatuna Kalmakhelidze's Office. We indicated about the unbearable living conditions in prisons. Some prisons for example in Batumi and Zugdidi are not fit to the international standards. Prisoners living conditions are degrading there. They have no possibility to sleep mostly. Additionally they are under the physiological and physical pressure, " - Sakhelashvili said.
