"Philippe Gordon's declaration is an USA position expressed once again. USA supports Georgian territorial integrity and sovereignty, "- the Official Tbilisi said in response to the declaration of Philippe Gordon.
The MFA of Georgia said it is very important that USA so frequently mentions Georgian problems. Sergey Kapanadze, Deputy MFA said this idea is developed long before in the higher levels in White House.
"It is so important that this position is frequently expressed as well in official talks with Russian Federation. This declaration is seen as support for the territorial integrity of Georgia and the state sovereignty, USA upholds reoccupation of Georgia, "- Kapanadze said.
For information, Philippe Gordon noted that USA respects Georgian sovereignty and territorial integrity. "We consider that Russia violates all this in respect of Georgian Republic. We are not satisfied with this situation and we will make every effort to change the existing situation, "- Philippe Gordon said delivering a speech at the Global Security conference in Bratislava.
In respect of the strategy of USA to Georgia he said his aim is to make Georgia an attractive state for S.O. and Abkhazia; as result these regions will be willing to join Georgia.
