Christian Democrats said the border at Abkhazia and S.O. line should be controlled by EU observation mission.
Girogi Targamaze, leader of Christian Democrats said taking into consideration the strained relations with Russian Federation, it will be very difficult to make possible the dislocation of EU observation forces at the Russian occupied territories. Particularly difficult it will be on the Psou and Roki tunnel.
"We should recall the Dniester example, here the EU observation mission operated in full. It controls the movement of goods and as well movement of people. They are performing its duties with the advanced equipment and state of art technique. TAkinginto consideration the existing relations with Russian Federation, placing of observation mission will be very difficult, but Georgia should be firm in its position," - Targamadze said. He believes that Georgia and Russia can find common interests provided the political elite of both countries will find strategic questions and priorities.
First of all Targamadze believes the Russian Federation has to respect the political sovereignty of Georgia.
