The Free Democrats say the today's Labor Code is enslaving. Victor Dolidze, chair of Healthcare and social issues in Sakrebulo said in case of having he fair Justice in Georgia people will be defenseless in terms of labor issues having such Labor Code as it is today.
Dolidze said the insufficiencies in the Labor legislation are reflected as well in the service of municipal refuse collection. The employees of this service are not given the contracts. Its work day duration is 10-12 hours/day. They are allowed only for the two weeks holydays. Often they are dismissed groundlessly. The administration hinders to the work of independent trade union work.
The Free Democrats are demanding the Ministry of Healthcare and Labor to publish immediately changes for the Labor Code.
