Soso Tsiskarishvili, political scientist, declared that the National Movement hysterically afraid of the appointment of the second tour of City Hall Mayor elections. He declared to the news agency GHN that the National movement tries to exploite the same methods of creating the favorable elections background for itself as it was trying during the Presidential and Parliamnetary elections for achieving success.
"The National Movement hysterically afraid of the second tour of elections. The second tour is a pernicious one for them; this fact is well known even for the 3 years old child grown up in the National Movement family. There is not a problem in mathematics: will be there a barrier in 30% or 50%, this is the problem of the people, the mayor is elected by the majority or minority of the population. As the government does not hope to collect any kind of majority of election votes in Tbilisi, it tries to elect the Mayor by the minority of votes for which it needs the barriers in 30% and in 50 % votes, "- Tsiskarishvili said.
