In case of earthquake in Armeni the outdated atomic power plant in Armenia will be a serious danger for the country and as well for us, Gia Arabidze, Dean of the Telecommunications Faculty at the GTU said to GHN.
"The nuclear power plant in Armenia must be closed. In 2010 the terms of exploitations for the plant expired, as the plant has some technical problems. No provisions for the secure operation in case of earthquake exists. Both reactors are outdated as the term of its exploitation expired long before, " - Gia Arabidze said.
