The question of participation of Georgian Army in Peacekeeping operations is a question of dignity prestige and a future. Saakashvili said this after his meeting with David Petrus head of USA Forces. The USA general said Georgian soldiers were the best among those who ever served in Afghanistan.
They commemorated soldiers died during this peacekeeping operation and said any such case is a private tragedy for them.
"Any such loss is a private tragedy for me, but we have to remember that our soldiers are performing very important mission. This is a question of a dignity of our state, its prestige and future, "- Mikheil Saakashvili said.
