The Georgian authorities are presenting to the international community the "virtual reality" that happens in Georgia. Opposition representative were talking about this with the acting chairman of OSCE in the hotel Tbilisi Marriott.
Manana Nachkebia, representative of New Rights said the meeting was very interesting. "We introduced him with the situation in Georgia concerning the democratic development of the country. We tried to show that the Georgian authorities are not telling the truth, the information they are presenting is a "virtual reality". For example, he was not aware that Georgia is not a leader country in area of economy and the inflation level is high. At the same time she noted that in case of revolution, the responsibility lays upon the government.
"At the meeting it was underlined that the G8 will prepare for the replacement of authorities over the improvement of elections environment and fair elections. It was stressed as well that the authorities are unwilling to accomplish negotiations successfully, "- Nachkebia said.
For information, the meeting of OSCE chair with the opposition representatives was held today in Tbilisi Marriot. The meeting attends Nino Burjanadze, chair of Democratic Movement, Tina Khidasheli, leader of Republican Party, Nestan Kirtadze, and International Secretary of Labor Party, Manana Nachkebia, representative of New Rights, and Christian Democrats' representative Nika Laliashvili.
