The civil movement Solidarity for Prisoners of Conscience and the Charity Fund for the Defense of Prisoners Rights declares the solidarity to the protest action "I am a prisoner as well" and joins this protest action which will be held tomorrow at 18:00 at the Cinema House.

"A very hard situation is today in the penitential system in terms of the defense of human rights. Every day a lot of complaints and demands are received by the system. Prisoners are demanding the attention. The number of prisoners exceeds all possible norms. Increased the number of death cases in prisons. The heartless approach and inhuman treatment with prisoners from the administration victimized many of prisoners. The cases of died prisoners are not investigated up to today and nobody takes the responsibility for this, "- the statement disseminated by Beselia reads.

Beselia calls everyone, among them members of the prisoners' families to defend prisoners' rights and to fight for release of prisoners of conscience arrested for the political motivation.
