In Moscow the dissatisfactions are expressed in connection with the declaration of Tengiz Gogolashvili head of the NATO informational center in Georgia. He said the Georgian village Ergneti is a NATO zone.
In the village which is located nearby to the S.O. border in the secondary school of the village Ergnety the ceremony of opening of the "NATO information center corner" was held.
"The astonishment is caused by the extravagant expressions of Tengiz Gogotishvili, head of the NATO information Center on the ceremony of opening of the center. He said the village Ergneti as any other village in Georgia is a NATO zone. Taking into account the presence on this ceremony of the Lithuanian envoy, head of diplomatic representation of NATO in Georgia Ionas Paslauskas the question raises towards the organization in Brussels about what NATO zones the talks were held, " - Lukashevich official representative of RF MFA said.
The information center is financed by the Georgian government which propagates the idea of NATO membership in the country. The main direction of the center is to create in the regions of Georgia and in the educational establishments the NATO corners for the formation of public opinion. The Russian side is unsatisfied with the creation of such center in Ergnety, village which is nearby to the S.O. border for the "propagandistic activity".
"The design of the Georgian side is to drug NATO to the resolution of the question of territorial integrity of Georgia, "- the official representative of RF Foreign Ministry said.
