The Libyan government ceases the fight against opposition and declared his readiness for the negotiations. The decision of Libyan leader was made public by Musa Kusa, Libyan Foreign Minister. According to the Foreign Minster the decision was taken in accordance with the UN Security Council resolution to defend the safety and security of peaceful population.
For information, in Libya in connection with the developed events the UN Security Council passed a resolution for closing airspace over Libya. The resolution calls world community to make every effort to defend the peaceful population. The resolution was upheld by France, UK, USA and 7 other countries. 5 countries abstained from voting among them Germany, China and Russia. The willingness for the participation in the military operations was expressed by several countries.
