The 2010 was accomplished with the growth our economy in 6.4 %. This is a quite good point if we will take into consideration the existing situation the region. Nika Gilauri said this today on governmental debates.
He noted that for the last 2 years many nearby countries still are in deficit. According to the IMF the economic growth in Armenia in 2010 was 4 %, in Azerbaijan 4.2 %, in Latvia 1 %, in Lithuania 1.3 %, in Moldova 3.2 %, in Ukraine 3.7 %, in Turkey 7.8 %.
"The Turkey is one and the only country which has the better result than our's was in 2010. If we will take into consideration that in January February the GDP grove from 6 to 7 % in our country, "- Gilauri said. He prognoses that the January February of 2011 are very promising. He said bases for this is the increase of value added taxes which was in January-February and which is in direct correlation with the economy growth and the value added tax increased in January February for 32%.
