Deputy Foreign Minister Nino Kalandzdze said Russian Federation has border only with Georgian Republic. Attempts to create borders with Abkhazia are illegitimate.
"These does not exist a Russian-Abkhazian border - there is a border between Georgia and RF which is strongly defined already and is not a subject for discussion. Accordingly any attempt to establish a border delimitation commission which will set new border lines is illegitimate and has no legal force, "- she said.
Kalandadze noted that these actions are directed to the seizure of Georgian lands by Russian Federation.
For information today on March 28 in Moscow in the Foreign Ministry the so-called Abkhazian -Russian Commission for borders delimitation-demarcation holds a sitting for review of Russian-Abkhazian border delimitation-demarcation in a northern part of Abkhazia. The commission will accomplish the talks on April 1. Information is disseminated by Abkhazian media.
The Abkhazian delegation already prepared different archive materials for the discussion. The northern party of the state border will be disputed.
