The territorial losses of Georgian Republic in Azerbaijan are 293 hectares; the information center of Kakheti published conclusion about transformation of Georgian-Azerbaijani border line based on NGOs of Caucasian Environment Networks CENN, GHN reports.
According to CENN on the Alazani border line with Azerbaijan 69 places are detected were the changes in border line were taking place. In 42 cases the border line is shifted deep into Georgian territory, in 27 cases in direction to Azerbaijani land. According to the report the territorial loss are 293 hectares. In the Azerbaijani side the loss of territory amounts to 224 hectares. Experts say in case of more detailed investigation of the border line place the difference may appear far bigger in the land loss in the Georgian territory.
