The increase of a rating Standart &Poor has a big importance for Georgia, Prime Minister Gilauri said, GHN reports. He said this is important for the investments inflow to Georgia and for cheaper resources for Georgian companies.
"In the world three main rating companies are - Fitch, Moody's and Standart &Poors. Georgia has agreements with all of these companies. Once or twice a year they are giving estimations to the Georgian economics. Some time ago the representatives of Standart &Poor s gave a positive estimation to Georgian economics. They noted the economic growth indicator in the country is very high and the governmental program is very successful. Accordingly the rating company changed the rating of the country form "standart" to the "positive", - Gilauri said.
Prime Minister said the increase of the rating is very important as for this period 5 European countries get lower estimations. Yesterday the rating company changed as well the credit ratings of Georgian government from the stable to the positive.
