The Official Tbilisi said the International Court of Justice give a legitimating to the demand to recognize Russia as a party in the Georgian-Russian conflict.
"The International Court of Justice recognized the Russian Federation is a party in the conflict, but not the third party. Moscow for several years tried to present the state of affairs with Georgia namely in this view as if Russian Federation is a third party, "- Nino Kalandadze, deputy Foreign Mistier said to Journalists. A very important recognition made by the Court, - Kalanddze said, - is that the basis for the conflict is an ethnic cleansing against Georgia. What about the rejecting reason of the case review at this stage, is that Court considers the negotiations are not exhausted yet between Russian Federation and Moscow.
For information, the International Court of Justice rejected the Georgian case against RF concerning ethnic cleansing. The France Press informs that Hague International Court said the reason for this is case is beyond the scope of Court's competence.
The pleading concerned allegation against RF in ethnic cleansing and discrimination of Georgians with support of local secessionist governments.
The case joined the events from 1990s to 2008. The pleading which enter the Court on August 12 of 2008 presented proofs for all forms of racial discrimination against Georgians.
