According to the Ossetian side information, the talks touched issues of Georgian detained persons and as well the lost citizens of so called S.O. The Ossetian side as well underlined that the talks as well touched an  exchange of detained persons between Georgia and Ossetia.

They as well informed that Hammerberg said that "it is difficult to estimate the real situation when one is distant from this."

"One of the problems is that the mass media is far from the  preconceived judgment, obviously it does not reflect a real situation and is biased. I tried to understand the real meaning of the facts and actions. What about the victims of such situations, there are the cases when  people were detained even before the war and sentenced, and there are as well  lost people, " - Hammerberg said. He believes that many of them are not alive.

"At the same time Hammerberg did not gave any facts in connection with this, he only said that  people which are imprisoned are not those who are counted as lost, " - the Information Committee informs. "But if this is so in fact, it is very important to investigate  cases and to punish, those who are guilty. As well  corpses have to be found to pass them to relatives, " - Hammerberg said. Hammerberg hopes his visit will resolve the strained situation.
"We are obliged to do two things - to reduce the tension and to provide the defense of  rights of people, " - Hammerberg said. He informed that he has suggestions which can help to move from the frozen point. The so called S.O. Committee of information informed that episcope Giorgi agreed with Hammerberg in the question that it is necessary to start an investigation and to reveal those high ranks who are depriving the life from people.

"The problem is in the nationalistic position of Georgian government. We wish to exchange hostages painless and fast. We are interested in ethnical stability. I hope that your visit will help to resolve the problem peacefully, "- Episcope Giorgi said.
