President Shimon Peres intends to ask Mikhail Saakashvili, President of Georgia to pardon  Israeli businessmen. The Israeli newspaper wrote. The talks are about Fux and Frenkel who were sentenced by Georgian City Court and fined for the bribery attempt of Georgian high rank representative.

Iris and Neta Frenkels, daughters of detained businessmen said its father was badly treated in prisons as he was deprived of good food and phone conversations with family members groundlessly. He has allowed only 3 calls per month, but this rule never fulfilled. His letters to relatives are thoroughly checked by police and different security establishments. Frenkels said they are experiencing hard times. "No such court trial could ever be in the state with  a rule of law. We had a sense as if they were kidnapped. The Georgian government has to pay a large amount of money for Fux. But Frenkel was only a mediator in this business and was inwardly involved in this business. Father is 64 already and needs a medical treatment, " - daughter said.

Neta noted that there are not only the court trial affairs, but a big political gamble is for hundreds of million USD (which amounts to 25% of Georgian state budget). They regret that the country for which its father served for 17 years so badly treated with him. "He was an initiator of many projects in Georgia, he attracted many investors for the country, his contribution to the country has to be taken into consideration when delivering a verdict, "- Iris said.
