The first communication will be established between Malaysian and Georgian law enforcers in a few minutes. The Chief Procurator Davit Sakvarelidze said on his return from Malaysia. The Georgian lawenforcers will send a letter to Malaysia asking for the criminal case (concerning Babutsa Gordaddze and Darejan Kokhtashvili) passing to the Georgian side. The Official Tbilisi is interested at what stage is the case review and whether are going the Malaysian law enforcers to replace the death sentence with long term imprisonment.
"We will initiate this question anew. Their legislation stipulates death sentence. We asked for comparatively loyal attitude for our citizens. Today the situation is very hard. We cannot promise e anything. We have an active correspondence exchange with them, "- Sakarelidze said.
Sakvarelidze presented the Official Tbilisi at the negotiations in Malaysia with lawenforcers, he returned today at dawn. The Malaysian PM was asked as well by Nika Gilauri, PM for release of Georgian women several days ago.
For information, two Georgian women were detained in Malaysia last year on October 14 with allegation of drugs traffic. The detained women are not admitting the crime; they are telling were victims of husband of Gordadze, who deceived them in drugs abuse. The Georgian party admitted guilt of Davitiani, husband of Gordadze on the ground of his own confession. He is sentenced for 15 years of imprisonment.
